defytime Science Japan CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takashi Nishihira) held a lecture at the Kioi Forum (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) with Mr. Stephen J. Matlin, CEO of Life Length, S.L. (Head Office: Madrid) on March 22th, 2019.
Japan has entered the super-aging society ahead of the world, and the importance of healthy life expectancy is being understood more than ever. defytime Science Japan CO., LTD. is developing a "Telomere Total Solution" to extend healthy life expectancy and aims to popularize analysis services for cell senescence by Telomere Analysis Technology (TAT), with hundreds of clinics in Japan.
On March 25th, 2019, National Geographic's "2019 The Lhotse South Face Expedition Team" headed for the peak of Lhotse, south of Everest in the Himalayas (altitude 8,516 m). Lhotse is one of fourteen 8,000-meter-peaks, and its south face has a height difference of 3,300 meters. It is said to be quite a challenge, with the world's largest rock wall. With world-famous climber Hong Sung-Taek (52 years old), a total of 45 climbers joined the team to challenge Lhotse's South Face.
defytime Science Japan CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takashi Nishihira) has a mission to "treat aging" and "discover a way to reverse aging", and has strong sympathy with this bold Lhotse challenge, helping to enable what seems impossible as an official sponsor of the expedition team.

The program highlighted people who shine bright in the workplace, community, and at home, and focused on companies that have such people. We introduced our telomere research and its results as well as efforts for preemptive self-repairing medicines in anti-aging, and closed it with the hope that it could help the aging society, which could be a global problem.
